The July 2025 cooking group potluck
If you are interested in eating yummy vegan food, need some new recipes to add to your menu, and want to have great conversations with like-minded people, this group is for you!
Each potluck, we make dishes with a specific theme. The July theme is HOT STUFF: anything spicy, served warm, trendy, or wearing a cute little skirt (per Denette).
Prepare a main dish, side dish, dessert, or appetizer that fits the theme.
Your dish should not contain any meat, eggs, dairy, fish, butter, honey, or derivatives of these products. Please bring the recipe or the list of ingredients to share, and please bring a reusable plate to cut down on waste.
This session Executive Director Laura Matanah will join us, share information about the key role of Minnesota in the Farm Bill, and share ways to take action.
We will meet in the youth room of Salem Covenant Church – 339 North 59th Ave. W in Duluth. There is plenty of parking in the lot. Feel free to bring your veg-friendly friends and family!
This group is sponsored by Compassionate Action for Animals and is a welcoming and non-judgmental group. Everyone is welcome – wherever you are on your veg journey!
Want to connect online? You can find us on MeetUp or find us on Facebook.
The Duluth Vegan Cooking Group meets on a quarterly basis — on the third Thursdays of the month during January, April, July, and October.
