The Animal Rights Coalition and Compassionate Action for Animals are teaming up for another annual vegan potluck, grill-out, and community gathering in Minneapolis!

All are welcome — feel free to invite your veg-friendly friends and family for an awesome vegan potluck and to learn more about how to get involved in animal advocacy. Join the Twin Cities vegan community for great food, conversation, and summer fun.

Wabun C Picnic Shelter (different shelter than last year!), Minnehaha Park, Minneapolis, MN

 What to Bring

To keep things balanced, please bring a vegan dish based on your last name:

• A–G: Dessert
• H–S: Main dish
• T–Z: Beverage, side dish, or salad

You’re also welcome to bring something vegan for the grill. We’ll have a dedicated vegan grill and volunteers to help manage it.

Vegan Food Guidelines

Please ensure your dish is completely vegan, meaning no:

•  no meat (no fish, birds, or mammals)
•  no dairy
•  no eggs
•  no gelatin
•  no honey
•  no other animal-derived products (e.g. no meat broth, whey powder, etc)

 What to Know

Please bring at least 8 servings and include a list of ingredients for your dish.

•  Bring a list of ingredients for everyone with allergies or sensitivities
•  Compostable plates, cups, and utensils will be provided – bring your own if you can to reduce pollution!
• Feel free to bring your veg-friendly friends and family. This event is a great way to introduce others to delicious vegan food and local animal advocacy work.
•  Well-behaved leashed dogs (and any other companion animals who would enjoy coming and are legally permitted on park property) are welcome
•  Alcohol is not permitted
•  Parking is limited. Please allow extra time and consider carpooling, biking or taking Metro Transit

 Arrive within the first hour for the best food selection!

Volunteers are needed to help set up before the event and help cleaning up after the event. We also need people to help with grilling, leading games, and sitting at the kid’s table.

This event will happen rain or shine! We will be underneath a shelter. Bring your own water bottle and a dish to share! You can also optionally bring your own utensils and a muffin tin or other tray for your food.
