Scroll to the bottom of this page\, or go to CAA.mn/Volunteer for complete volunteer opportunities.*** \nJoin CAA to serve a vegan lunch at Simpson Housing Services in Minneapolis. Simpson provides shelter to around seventy unhoused people each night\, and partners with community groups to prepare meals for shelter residents. This is a wonderful way to care for our Minnesota community in an animal-friendly\, eco-friendly way. \nPlease sign up at the link above to receive the address and other information to prepare for the event. We’ll meet at 10:30 am to help the chef prepare and serve a healthy plant-based meal. Then we’ll tidy up and everything should be finished by 1:00 pm. \nOther Notes: \n\nPlease dress comfortably\, with closed-toe shoes.\nWe expect to serve about 40 residents.\nWhile we may explain more about CAA’s work or veganism if residents ask\, this is primarily a service event\, not an outreach event.\nIf you have any questions\, please email Nicola at nicola.philpott@exploreveg.org or CAA staff at info@exploreveg.org.\n\n  \n
