Settle into your seat with a delicious dinner from Trio Plant-Based and Lulu’s Ethiovegan as we screen They’re Trying to Kill Us. This groundbreaking documentary examines why Americans of color experience disproportionately high rates of chronic disease and investigates how food, race, poverty, systemic racism, and public policy shape our health.
After the film, Thandisizwe Jackson-Nisan of Vegan Byy Nature will emcee a panel discussion featuring:

- Lauren Plunkett, Registered Dietitian
The film’s central narrator and co-director, John Lewis, will also be the keynote speaker at Twin Cities Veg Fest on September 20.
