Want to eat your way across St. Paul, hit up nine great spots with vegan options, meet awesome people, and help keep Twin Cities Veg Fest free — all at once?
Welcome to the Twin Cities Plant-Based Bike Crawl, back for its third year on Sunday, August 10, 2025. This 18-mile ride is part food tour, part community celebration, and part fundraiser for the biggest free-entry vegan festival in the Midwest.
Whether you’re a casual rider or a pro, the Bike Crawl is your chance to connect with like-minded folks, see some of the most beautiful sights the Twin Cities has to offer, and support a powerful cause — all while snacking on free plant-based goodies along the way.
And if biking isn’t your thing, join us at the After-Party at Gambit Brewing Co. where 10% of drink sales will go to support Twin Cities Veg Fest! Everybody’s welcome.
Feast Your Way Through St. Paul
A $75 ticket gets you:
- An 18-mile guided bike crawl across St. Paul.
- A free vegan food or drink item at all nine stops.
- Entry in a drawing for two $20 Angry Catfish gift cards.
- The good karma of supporting Twin Cities Veg Fest, attended by 5,000+ every year.
The Route & Food Stops
All food items are included in your Bike Crawl ticket price — no extra costs along the way.

We’ll start at Union Depot Rail View Picnic Area, where you can grab discounted merch from past festivals and purchase one of last year’s custom Plant-Based Bike Crawl jerseys.
Then at 10:00 AM, we’ll kick off for the East Side, where you can load up on drinks with vegan add-ons at the coffee and ice tea bar at Caydence Records & Coffee, and enjoy the sweet and savory “watermelon squeeze” from Tongue in Cheek.
After that, we’re hitting up Sawatdee Saint Paul (also a participant in the 2025 Twin Cities Vegan Chef Challenge) for fresh vegan spring rolls with mushrooms, noodles, and crunch.
In the early afternoon, you can enjoy some of the Twin Cities’ most famous vegan pizza (with gluten-free options) at Pizza Lucé St. Paul, and enjoy rich rose cake or gluten-free muffins at French Meadow.
We’ll kick off the final leg of the ride at Mississippi Market Co-op on West 7th Street, where everyone gets a free chocolate mousse and deli potato salad, and plant-based vendors are offering samples throughout the store.
Finally, Crasqui Restaurant — also a Twin Cities Vegan Chef Challenge participant — is treating us all to their plantain lasagna.
(And did we mention every food item is included in your ticket price?)

The After-Party
At 4:30 PM, it’s time for the after-party at Gambit Brewing Co., where all riders get free vegan cookies from Insomnia Cookies, and 10% of all beverage sales go to support Twin Cities Veg Fest. We’ll also be doing a drawing among ticketed riders for two $20 gift cards to Angry Catfish Bicycle Shop, so make sure to stay around!
If you’re not a rider, you can show up anyway to enjoy the company and help support the cause with your beverage purchases.
Great Community with Like-Minded People
The Twin Cities Plant-Based Bike Crawl is a vegan summer highlight, alongside the Twin Cities Vegan Chef Challenge and Twin Cities Veg Fest. Here’s what we’ve heard from participants in previous years:
- “The community was great. It was super nice to meet new people.”
- “I had a great time participating and appreciate all the effort that went into planning this event. Supporting Twin Cities Veg Fest and the associated businesses is important to me, and events like these play a crucial role in bringing our community together.”
- “I loved talking to all the participants and met some new people. The atmosphere was fun and festive.”
- “I enjoyed all of the food and meeting other vegans from around the Cities!”
- “Fun to get out in the sunshine with fellow vegans and the food was excellent. Such a beautiful route, too!”

Opportunities for All Experience Levels
The Plant-Based Bike Crawl is the perfect event for cyclists of all levels. For beginners, we bike at a relaxed pace and have a lead and tail rider to guide you and make sure nobody gets left behind. If you’re a pro, you can sign up to volunteer as a lead or tail rider on our events page and get $30 off your ticket price.
Prefer to keep your feet on the ground? We have volunteer roles at Union Depot and Gambit Brewing Co., and you can join the After-Party at Gambit to be part of the fun from start to finish.

Not Biking? Come Party Instead!
If you want to skip the ride and head straight to the fun, the after-party kicks off at 4:30 PM at Gambit Brewing Co. Everyone’s welcome, and 10% of all drink sales will go directly to support Twin Cities Veg Fest.
Come hang out, meet great people, and raise a glass to plant-based progress. See you there!
